With this Hand-Balance-Workshop we intense, but playfully confront our fears being upside down. By isolating the main-joints and body-parts in a structured way we are able to gain a better understanding of the positions. To be able to access the positions - we incorporate shoulder-mobility-exercises, and -theory. This builds the foundation, and can be integrated into your regular practice. So to get the best of your training after the workshop.
The mix of physical practice, experiencing, and understanding the role of different body parts while being upside-down leads to a good understanding and quick improvement. This workshop is suitable for you, if you find it hard to balance 40 seconds without walking. We will separate the group in a way that everyone can work on their specific goals.

In this workshop, you will learn how to use the “best upper body training tool” - the gymnastic rings. Impressive strength and abilities on the rings, such as the shoulder stand, the forward roll, and others, need to be well-built in order to efficiently and safely use the potential of the rings.
We will look at the most important individual parts isolated, in order to then put them together functionally and technically correct. This will give a deeper understanding in order to enrich your own training in the long term. This workshop is suitable for you if you have basic fitness and are curious about what you can achieve with the rings or have been working with the rings for a while, but want more.

In this Workshop, I present my concepts and approaches toward soft- acrobatics / acro-dance. We research and integrate continuity and agility in movement on one hand, and will focus on a selection of specific skills on the other. We drag apart elements from the areas of floorwork, acrobatics, the art of falling, dance and capoeira.
Some tasks are off abstract nature, so to leave room for interpretation and boost creativity, while others are clearly instructed, and look to improve a selected skill. Through the concept of isolation, integration, and improvisation even complex skills become easy to understand. We dismantle them like a puzzle, to be able to understand and integrate them afterward into the whole.

We'll work on exercises like press-ups, stalder presses, handstand pushups, and their variations to improve handstand strength. No prior experience is necessary, not even the ability to do a freestanding handstand. This class can even help you build the strength you need to balance easily. We'll use our proven system to work efficiently and sustainably but keep in mind that learning these skills takes time and dedication.
